US Companies Accused of Violating Law Over Israel Military Support
A federal lawsuit has been filed against Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Caterpillar for allegedly violating the Leahy Law by providing military equipment and weapons to Israel.
The plaintiffs, including the Arab American Civil Rights League and several US citizens who claim their property was destroyed in Lebanon, say the companies knew or should have known that the Israeli military would use the equipment in a manner involving an unreasonable risk of harm.
The complaint seeks to halt the transfer of technical, software, part, and maintenance support to Israel and demands compliance with federal law.
A Lockheed Martin spokesperson declined to comment on the pending litigation, while the State Department also chose not to respond. The other companies did not immediately provide a statement.
