Wall Street's Favorites: McDonald's and Badger Meter Soar, But Analysts Warn on Antero Resources
Two stocks that Wall Street analysts are bullish about and one they warn against have been identified by StockStory.
The first stock, McDonald's (MCD), is a fast-food behemoth with an aggressive strategy of expanding new restaurants to capture whitespace, resulting in same-store sales growth. The company trades at 17.7x forward P/E, and analysts predict it will reach $298.86 per share for a 27.6% implied return.
Badger Meter (BMI), another top pick, provides water control and measure equipment to various industries and has seen annual revenue growth of 13.6% over the last five years. Its market share increased during this cycle, and analysts expect it to reach $156.67 per share for a 24.5% implied return.
However, Antero Resources (AR) is a different story. The company drills and produces natural gas, natural gas liquids, and oil from underground rock formations in the Appalachian Basin but has slower revenue growth compared to its peers at 5.8% annual revenue growth over the last five years. Analysts predict it will reach $50.29 per share for a 48.9% implied return.
