Windows 11 Pro Discounted to Just $9.97 for a Limited Time

Microsoft has discounted its Windows 11 Pro operating system to $9.97 for a limited time, down from its usual price of $199.

This promotion is available through August 20 at 11:59 p.m. PT and allows users to upgrade their home PC with advanced features such as BitLocker, which provides full-device encryption to protect files in case the device is lost or stolen.

Windows Sandbox creates an isolated environment for testing applications without affecting the rest of the system, while Hyper-V enables virtual machines for testing software or running another operating system on compatible hardware.

The promotion also includes features like Snap layouts, virtual desktops, and voice typing for everyday use, as well as support for DirectX 12 Ultimate for games and Copilot for AI-assisted tasks.
