Saudi Arabia Vows Decisive Action Against Regional Threats Amid Ongoing Tensions

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's commitment to regional security and stability. In his annual address to the Shoura Council, he emphasized that recent attacks targeting Gulf states demonstrate the 'indivisibility of Gulf security and stability.'

The crown prince stated that Saudi Arabia will continue efforts to de-escalate tensions and pursue diplomatic solutions while responding decisively to any threat to its security. He highlighted the Kingdom's work with its Gulf partners to safeguard regional security, pursue strategic cooperation and economic integration, and strengthen joint action.

Saudi Arabia has also taken initiatives to strengthen international cooperation on security, including the establishment of the Multinational Maritime Defense Alliance. The crown prince condemned ongoing attacks against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and reiterated Saudi Arabia's commitment to the rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state in accordance with international law.

He also emphasized the progress made under Vision 2030, which has seen significant growth in non-oil exports and an increase in the private sector's contribution to the economy. The Kingdom aims to become a global leader in developing AI applications and solutions.
