BitMine Surpasses $17 Billion in Treasury Value After Major ETH Acquisition

BitMine Immersion Technologies, led by Tom Lee, has boosted its Ethereum holdings to 5,983,940 tokens after acquiring 27,562 ETH over the prior week. This acquisition pushes BitMine's treasury past $17 billion in value.

The company now holds about 4.9% of the total Ether supply, with a significant portion of its position staked and generating a yield. As of September 20, BitMine held $13.6 billion worth of ETH, which is roughly 85% of its total holdings.

BitMine's staking strategy has been successful, with an annualized yield of 2.62%. The company projects that this revenue will rise to around $357 million and eventually reach $421 million once the stack is fully deployed through its MAVAN staking platform.
