Korean Banks Flock to Ripple's XRP Seoul 2026 Conference

Korean banks Woori Bank and Kakao Bank are joining Ripple's XRP Seoul 2026 conference, along with Kyobo Securities and Kbank. The event takes place on October 3 at Grand Hyatt Seoul. Ripple executives will discuss tokenization, payments, and institutional DeFi.

The speaker lineup includes senior manager Seunghoon Han from Woori Bank, manager Leo Lee from Kakao Bank, Executive Director Heejin Shin from Kyobo Securities, and digital-asset TF lead Jaehyuk Choi from Kbank. Ripple President Monica Long and SVP Markus Infanger will also be in attendance.

The conference program focuses on institutional adoption of XRPL, tokenized assets, and DeFi. Sessions include a panel on traditional finance adopting asset tokenization, the future of tokenized assets, and institutional XRP management. RLUSD cross-border payments will also be discussed.
