WEMADE Launches Web3 Roguelike Tower Defense Game Hellsquad Rrrush!: Stone Rush

WEMADE's blockchain gaming platform WEMIX PLAY has launched Hellsquad Rrrush!: Stone Rush, a Web3 version of the popular casual roguelike tower defense game. The original game reached No. 1 on Google Play's Top Games chart within three days of release and accumulated over 1 million downloads.

The Web2 title combines strategic unit positioning, roguelike upgrades, and wave-defense gameplay, where players command cutesy yet deadly demon squads defending the gates of Hell against invading forces.

With Hellsquad Rrrush!: Stone Rush, WEMADE has introduced a player-driven token economy and Hexstone Mine Wars, a territory-control mode that powers a two-tier currency loop. This allows players to mine HELLSHARD from captured Hexstone shafts, which can be converted into HELLSTONE and used to access the wider WEMIX ecosystem.

WEMADE has also opened three dedicated webshops on WEMIX PLAY, offering exclusive content denominated in different tokens: PLAY Shop, AMBER Shop, and WEMIX Shop. These webshops allow players to purchase exclusive character skins with PLAY tokens or acquire specialized in-game item packages using AMBER tokens or WEMIX coins.
