Economists Hail India's Economic Growth Trajectory as Reforms Bear Fruit
Global economists have expressed praise for India's economic growth trajectory and reforms. According to Swedish economist Daniel Waldenström, India has made impressive progress through growth-oriented policies.
'India is on a good path in terms of increasing its economy at a fast pace,' he said, 'The focus on growth has been very positive and will help expand education, infrastructure and overall living standards.'
Waldenström emphasized the importance of income inequality over wealth inequality, stating that income levels provide a clearer picture of poverty and economic opportunities.
Former European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet described India's transformation as 'very impressive', adding that the country is a major player in addressing global challenges. French economist Jean-Pierre Landau praised the growing India-France partnership, stating that trade and investment across Asia remain robust.
