Amazon.com Inc. has expanded its partnership with Uber Technologies Inc. by introducing Uber Eats delivery perks for Prime members. Starting Thursday, US Prime subscribers can enjoy waived delivery fees on Uber Eats orders placed through Amazon’s website or app, provided the order is at least $25.
The new feature is integrated into a dedicated Uber Eats interface within Amazon’s platform. This move comes just a week after DoorDash Inc. announced its acquisition of Instacart, signaling a competitive shift in the food delivery sector.
Both companies highlighted the convenience this integration brings to Prime members, streamlining the process of ordering food delivery alongside their regular Amazon shopping.
