Amex Opens Centurion Lounge at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

American Express has opened its first Centurion Lounge in continental Europe at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, marking the network's 33rd global lounge. The nearly 6,000-square-foot space is designed to evoke the city's canals with a palette of blues, greens, and earth tones.

The lounge features floor-to-ceiling windows, artwork from local artists, and a Blue Roast Coffee Bar serving locally sourced coffee. It also has a full bar and a buffet with seasonally inspired Dutch and regional European dishes.

According to American Express's 2026 Global Travel Trends Report, 83 percent of Millennials and Gen Z prioritize unique experiences over popular tourist attractions.
