Claimio CEO to Pitch AI-Powered Unclaimed Property Recovery at Tech Week
Claimio, a platform specializing in recovering and monitoring unclaimed property, has announced that its Co-Founder and CEO, David Dorfman, will pitch at the Google for Startups and Google DeepMind Demo Slam during San Francisco Tech Week. The event is scheduled for October 6 in San Francisco's SoMa neighborhood, where Dorfman will have just three minutes to present his company's mission without the aid of slides.
Claimio aims to help individuals and businesses locate money held by state governments, which often goes unclaimed due to fragmented systems and confusing processes. Dorfman emphasizes that the complexity of the system, rather than indifference, prevents people from reclaiming their funds. He sees the Demo Slam as an opportunity to showcase how AI can streamline what has traditionally been a paperwork-heavy problem.
The platform leverages data matching, workflow automation, and state-specific recovery logic to simplify the process of finding and recovering unclaimed funds. Claimio operates on a contingency basis, charging users only after successful recoveries. The company has already claimed over $8.5 million for more than 3,000 customers and monitors 250 million unclaimed property records.
In addition to its core services, Claimio has expanded its reach through the Claimio API and Claimio Embedded, allowing fintech apps, service providers, and employers to integrate unclaimed property recovery into their offerings. Dorfman will be in San Francisco from October 5 through October 11 to meet with potential partners, platforms, and investors.
