Google Home is facing yet another issue, this time affecting its mobile app. Users are complaining about slow performance and error messages when interacting with connected devices.

The problem seems to be limited to the iOS and Android apps, as the web version appears to be working fine. One affected user reported that reinstalling the app resulted in an 'Internal error encountered' message and a loading indicator.

A workaround has been discovered, which involves switching to a different Wi-Fi network and clearing the cache and storage. However, this is not a permanent fix, and Google is actively rolling out a fix for the issue.
