Google Search Now Lets Patients Book Appointments Directly

Yosi Health has announced an integration that allows patients to book appointments directly from Google Search and Maps. This feature is part of Yosi's customizable patient management platform for specialty medical groups.

The integration uses Reserve with Google, which enables patients to select 'Book Online' from a search result and move straight into the organization's existing screening and intake workflow.

Patients can begin booking an appointment without first visiting the organization's website. This capability is available now to healthcare organizations using Yosi's online self-scheduling solution.

Hari Prasad, Founder and CEO of Yosi Health, stated that patients expect healthcare to be as convenient as other digital experiences in their lives. By allowing patients to start scheduling directly from Google Search, while preserving each organization's existing scheduling rules and intake workflows, Yosi is removing unnecessary friction from the patient journey.

Dr. Julie Tomberlin, who runs a pediatric practice affiliated with Privia Medical Group in Mansfield, Texas, commented that making it easier for families to schedule appointments is good for patients and good for their practice. With the integration, parents can move from searching for care to starting the scheduling process without having to call the office or navigate the website.
