Pennant Group Sees Strong Growth from Integrated Operations

The Pennant Group has successfully integrated its recently acquired Amedisys and UnitedHealth Group operations, achieving strong growth in revenue and profitability across its established home health, hospice, and senior living operations.

The company finalized the $146.5 million acquisition of these assets in October 2025, with roughly two-thirds of the acquired revenue coming from home health services and one-third from hospice care.

Pennant divided the integration into five waves to allow its support teams sufficient time to train employees, move operations onto Pennant's systems, and address individual agency needs.

Despite the challenges associated with large acquisitions, Pennant reported growth in census, revenue, and profitability across its existing operations, including a 9.7% increase in same-store home health admissions and a 10.8% rise in same-store hospice average daily census.
