Vi Business and Cisco team up to boost enterprise network transformation

Vi Business, the enterprise division of telecom operator Vi, has teamed up with Cisco to boost network transformation for businesses. The partnership focuses on enhancing Vi Business's Hybrid SD-WAN portfolio using Cisco's Meraki technology. This collaboration comes as enterprises increasingly adopt cloud services and distributed operations, making secure and scalable networking solutions more critical.

The Hybrid SD-WAN solution, launched by Vi Business in 2023, helps modernize Wide Area Network infrastructure by integrating SD-WAN, security, and multi-cloud capabilities. The solution is managed through end-to-end services and offers diverse connectivity options, including leased lines, broadband, and cellular networks. Powered by Cisco Meraki, it features a single dashboard for easy management of SD-WAN, application-aware routing, security, and built-in Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity.

Vi Business provides a fully managed Hybrid SD-WAN service, backed by its nationwide connectivity. This includes proactive monitoring, lifecycle management, and a unified service experience. The service-based model eliminates upfront capital investments, allowing businesses to scale their networking needs as required.

Sunil Kumar, Chief Enterprise Business Officer of Vodafone Idea Limited, highlighted the partnership's benefits. He noted that enterprises need secure, agile networking solutions that align with their strategic goals. The collaboration with Cisco ensures clients can build resilient, scalable, and future-ready networks with centralized management of distributed networks.
