A neighborhood in De Pere's west side is undergoing a transformation as part of the Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity's 3rd annual Rock the Block event. Over 325 volunteers are participating, totaling more than 1,500 hours of service by September 18.

The program aims to help homeowners stay in their homes by providing necessary repairs and improvements that may be beyond their means. CEO Jessica Diederich explained that they 'saw a need for people who already own homes but struggle to make repairs'.

Hundreds of volunteers are tackling outdoor projects, including landscaping, cleanup, and repairs that homeowners cannot do themselves. Organizations like Aurora BayCare Medical Center staff and Home Depot are also participating in the event.
